Amy is scheduled to guest-star in the hit CBS comedy How I Met Your Mother for the first-season finale as a woman who had a fling with Barney (Neil Patrick Harris). Her character also has a knowledge of Native American rituals, which apparently into play during the episode.
Her guest appearance will also reunite her with her former Angel co-star, Alexis Denisof, who will also appear.

Alias looks set to return to our screens on Wednesday, April 19 at 8:00/7:00c. However, the final season of this ABC show will be shorter, as the show’s creator/executive producer J.J. Abrams confirmed that the veteran spy drama will close after 17 episodes this season, not 22 as originally indicated.
"Too bad on the one hand, but on the other, we have an awesome finale in the works," Abrams said.
This leaves only eight installments of the series left to air when it returns later this season.

Having made a great impression on Alias, it's been announced that amy will be a regular in the last eight episodes of Alias which will begin showing in mid april. A 2 hour mid season premiere, followed by 4 episodes and then a 2 hour series finale will include the character Amy plays, the evil assassin, Kelly.
And there is the exciting possibility that we may not have seen the last of Peyton, as the producers are mulling ways to continue the franchise. "I would say we haven’t seen the end of all things Alias," says executive producer Jeff Pinkner. "There are versions of this show which could exist after this season. There are plenty of stories we’d love to tell."
Pinkner and Abrams have discussed is a spin-off series revolving around Amy’s character Peyton, as well as other villains Sark (David Anders) and Sloane (Ron Rifkin). "It’s the triumvirate of evil!" Pinkner says. (No official discussions with ABC have taken place yet, but we’re keeping our fingers crossed.) |

Amy will be appearing in the new season of Alias for at least 3 episodes, with the possibility of more. She’ll be playing an agent named Kelly Peyton who works with Rachel Gibson, portrayed by new cast regular Rachel Nichols. Her first episode, The Shed, aired on 13th October 2005.
Only two weeks earlier, Amy could be seen making a guest appearance on the new WB series, Supernatural. Her episode aired 27th September 2005.
